Natural Help with ADD, High Cholesterol and More! #lifefood

In order to facilitate this post, I received this product complimentary. Links included in this post may be affiliate links that provide a small return to the blog for referring you to these sites and their products.

I don't know if you have any experience with a child with ADD or ADHD, but I do.

I don't know if anyone in your house has struggled with high cholesterol and high blood pressure, but we do.

And I try not to pour medicine into my crew unless I know there is no other option.

So when I can I choose oils and other times I choose to find natural and homeopathic options that can do some of those same things in my boys who need a little help.

Recently, my husband's doctor recommended that he begin taking fish oil supplements. We looked around at various options and discovered that the bets place to purchase them from was Amazon.com. The latest brand we chose was Life & Food Omega-3 Supreme Fish Oil.

There are lots of benefits to this supplement, including:

○ Highly concentrated and pure, pharmaceutical grade (more than 75% of Omega-3)
○ Fish Oil concentrate made from IFOS 5-star certified fish oils (raw material).
○ Sourced from wild Alaskan caught Pollock.
○ USA Manufactured and laboratory tested in FDA, GMP, NSF certified facilities.
○ Molecularly distilled, clean refined and tested.
○ Easy to swallow soft gelatin capsules.
○ Specially coated for max absorption and no fish taste.

Omega-3 supplements help promote a heart healthy diet, joint support, brain support, circulation and maintenance of cholesterol levels. It's even been studied as a possible aid in fighting inflammation from arthritis.

Life & Food brand was one of the most cost-efficient options too. If you're looking for a natural way to help address ADD, high cholesterol and more, you should try out these Omega-3 supplements.

Extravagantly . . . A Personal Post

There haven't been many personal posts from me in quite some time. I find I can't schedule them; I simply have to wait until it comes pouring from my emotions through my brain and into my fingertips.

Apparently today, I have something to say.

I've been reading a really challenging book with an unusual title. Brace yourself - it'sGod and Boobs by Angie Schuller-Wyatt. Yep, Schuller, as in Robert Schuller of the Crystal Cathedral. It's written by his granddaughter. I was a little wary when I received a copy to review. Honestly I was afraid it was going to be irreverent at best and unbiblical at worst. But I haven't found that to be true. In fact, I've been very surprised to find it challenging and encouraging of me as a believer and as a woman - fully and completely, a woman.

One of the things that it mentioned is how often we misinterpret the verse "Guard your heart for out of it are all the issues of life." Growing up this verse was used regularly …

I Cried the First Time I Watched My Son Wrestle

My middle son, Colt, told me not too long ago that he wanted to wrestle. We are a sports family, but wrestling has never been one of those sports. AND this child is on the spectrum . . . now, all that really means for him is that he's not going to pick up on any social hints you drop, he's incredibly literal, and he's finicky about sensations. Yes, the child who is finicky about sensations told me he wanted to wrestle - where people are constantly touching you and holding you down and forcing your body into positions you don't want it to be in. But I have always determined that I would not hold my children back by forcing artificial boundaries on them that they don't have for themselves - so if the boy wanted to wrestle, we were going to let him try it out.

A couple of weekends ago, we went to his first wrestling tournament. I was so naive. We were supposed to be there at 9 am, and, in all seriousness, I made plans for 11 am. I thought we would walk in, he would h…

AMAZING Disney Fish Extender Gift Ideas

Being new to the Disney traveler's world meant being new to the FE world . . . and as we researched how we were going to participate in the FE that is a part of our cruise, we came across a lot of good FE ideas so I thought I would share them.

Disney Earrings - there are all kinds and many of them are one-of-a-kind but these are a novelty that I know I would love to get as an FE from someone else

Vintage Mickey Mouse Earrings - $3.99 MindieMay
Disney Character Clothes Pins - These would work well to close bags that hold other FE gifts or you could put a magnet on the back of each one and everyone could use them as note holders on the walls of their stateroom. Super cute - this vendor does a really good job with them.

Wave Phone Holders - If you need more information on what these are, you can see my previous post Top 5 Disney Necessities. Basically these are simple holders for a phone that Disney provides which is a cross between a cell p…
