Kroger Mega-Event Deal

I ran in with two of my three boys to grab snack for tonight’s baseball game and managed to snag some great deals at Kroger’s Mega Event sale that just started today. All original prices listed below are AFTER the $.50/item discount that you get for buying 10 participating items.

Gerber Little Graduates Meals and Cookies (that’s all that was included in our store) – $1.99
- $1/1 coupon (if you don’t see it, use zip 90210)
And right now if you buy 4 or more, you also get a Catalina for $2 off your next purchase
TOTAL: $.49 each if you buy four (you’ll need more than one computer to print 4 coupons)

Ritz or Nabisco Snack Crackers – $1.99
- $1/1 Munchables coupon
TOTAL: $.99 (I actually got these for FREE because it took my paper coupon and then still used Ecoupon loaded to my card. I gave the card at the end.)

Yoplait Gogurts – $1.69
-$.75/2 coupon
TOTAL: $1.32 each

General Mills Cereals – $1.99
- $1/3 coupon (if you don’t see it, use zip 90210)
- $.50/1 Cheerios
TOTAL: $1.49 – $1.66 (This is a bit more than I like to pay for cereal, but we are almost out so it was a good deal.)

Fiber One or Nature Valley Granola Bars – $2.29
- $.40/1 Fiber One
- $0.50/1 General Mills Bars
- $1/2 Nature Valley Granola Bars
- $0.75/2 Nature Valley Granola Bars
- $0.75/2 Nature Valley Cellfire E-coupon
TOTAL: As low as $1.79

Capri Sun – $1.49

I’ve learned that the new changes to the coupon policy at Kroger mean that sometimes an e-coupon will come off of a product and it will be worth less than a coupon I am holding in my hand. The only way to avoid that is to not give my Kroger card until after I have had all of my coupons scanned. The downside is that without the Kroger coupon scanned you will not see the correct prices as the items are scanned.
