LOCAL: $7 for Kid’s Sewing/Quilting Class

I sew a little bit and people always seem amazed by that . . . but I don’t quilt, and I would love to take this class myself. Unfortunately, it would be strange for a mom to show up without her kids and I think putting a needle in any of my boys’ hands would be a major mistake.

Awesome deal though – $7 for 2 hours of lessons on how to make yo-yo’s which you will assemble to create several fun, funky animal print hair accessories to take home. The kids will have one-of-a-kind works of art to wear and skills that they can use again and again. These simple sewing and quilting techniques can be used to make rings, necklaces, t-shirt embellishments and more.

This would be a great activity for a Sunday school class, a Brownie or Girl Scout Troop or even a birthday party.
