Extreme Couponing?

Have you been watching Extreme Couponing on TLC?

It’s a big deal and I have even more people approaching me when I’m in the stores with my coupons and my binder. Frequently they ask me for tips and I encourage them to come to the website and see what information will be the most helpful for them.

I thought it might be a good idea to tell you the things I think a coupon/savings newbie should start with:

Daily Deal Sites – there are lots of great daily deal sites that offers 50-90% off restaurants, retail and services like massages, haircuts, even carpet cleaning. Start with big names like Groupon, Eversave and Juice in the City.

Pampers - Gifts to Grow Rewards Program – if you have a child in diapers, you don’t want to miss out on this. Redeem points from wipes and diaper packages to get coupons, FREE diapers and even gift cards

Vocalpoint -  Complete registration and receive exclusive Proctor and Gamble coupons, samples, newsletters and discount

Print coupons – Start by printing all the coupons available for the products you already buy. There are lots of great sites, click on the Coupon button at the top of this page to find a list of the sites I use the most.

Sign up for samples – Not only do you get FREE items, frequently they come with high value coupons that will be very valuable down the road. Here are some of the most recent samples:

And of course follow MelissaStuff by email, by RSS, on Twitter and on Facebook so you don’t ever miss out on the latest deals.
