Day 4: The Fresh Diet

Starting to fall into a rhythm. Love the convenience of having my meals ready and waiting whenever I am hungry. Definitely helps keep me from eating junk or high calorie leftovers.


Blueberry Cream Cheese Crepes with Fresh Pineapple & Wild Berry Sauce

This tasted so good I wasn’t sure it was healthy at all. I would eat this every morning for breakfast if I could. I did add a glass of milk.


Grilled Steak Salad with Romaine Lettuce, Tomato, Red Onion & Horseradish Dressing

Have I mentioned how much I love the salads from the Fresh Diet? I am a huge fan of horseradish and need to find out where to buy or how to make this dressing. The “steak” wasn’t the best cut of meat, but it was a small part of the whole experience any way.


Steamed Asian Style Tuna Dumpling with Soy Dipping Sauce.

If you read the blog you know one of my favorite kinds of foods is Asian .  . . so I was excited about this snack, and it did not disappoint. The only negative was the the soy sauce had spilled inside the container so the dumplings were soaked and therefore pretty salty.


Since it was Friday, we went out to eat as a family and enjoyed McAlister’s. If you haven’t eaten there recently, they have a lot of options that are an entire meal for less than 500 calories.



Peanut Butter Chip Cheese Cake

I scrapbooked with friends on Friday night, and they brought jello cake and brownies. But I didn’t eat any. I came prepared with my own dessert and to be honest I wasn’t even tempted because this cheesecake is that good. I do have to admit that all of the cheesecakes taste pretty much the same no matter what “kind” they are supposed to be, but that’s fine by me because they all taste good.

I know Cheesecake Factory has an 8 calorie slice of cheesecake . . . anybody have that recipe?
