What I Got: $15 for $30 of Tax Prep at H&R Block

H-_-r-block-4

I always do our taxes, even the years that I am technically self-employed I have been able to use online software to streamline the process. I pay about $40 each year and the simplicity of doing it that way is well worth it, in my opinion.

But, this year, it will be a bit cheaper. Groupon is running an off for $30 worth of tax preparation from H&R Block for just $15. Their base package for those who don’t itemize is $19.95 – I wouldn’t recommend this as you can do it FREE from websites such as TaxACT and TurboTax. If you itemize, you can use their Deluxe package at $29.95 and with this Groupon it will be just $15.

Because I am again self-employed this year, I will be using the Premium package – regularly $49.95 – and using the Groupon it will be $15 plus $19.95. Not a huge savings, but I had Groupon credit from the purchases some of you have made so that helped out.

If you are new to Groupon, you can get this deal here. (If you don’t see it immediately, look under Tuscon, Arizona.)

For Groupon returning customers, just login and make your purchase.
