I’m not talking about junk that people roll their eyes at . . . I’m talking about legitimate, would have bought it anyway, Christmas gifts!
There are several different ways I am able to get great gifts for FREE:
#1 – Swagbucks
If you don’t know how Swagbucks works yet – you sign up and then use Swagbucks to surf the Internet.
You can even download the toolbar and use it navigate to websites.
As you use it, you earn bucks that you can trade for rewards. I usually wait until I get 450 bucks and then trade them for $5 Amazon gift cards.
It’s really easy and I am able to use them to buy whatever I want on Amazon! GREAT Christmas gifts.
#2 – Earning Referral Credits from the Daily Deal Sites
It seems like lately daily deal sites have just been popping up all over. Almost every one of them offers credit for referring others to sign up and make purchases. I have already used the small referral fees I’ve earned to buy several gifts for the holidays.
The best one right now is probably the Foundary because they are new and they are offering a $1 credit (up to $50) for every referral that joins and then an additional $20 for each referral that makes a purchase.
Or you can sign up for Adpages and get $10 for each referral who signs up from your link and makes a purchase.
Plus right now you can enter to win a $25 credit from them and enter to win more credits by signing up for their Twitter and Facebook feeds – all of which you can use to buy deals and get FREE Christmas gifts.
If neither of these works for you, you can see an entire list of daily deal sites in the MelissaStuff Shopping Directory.
#3 – Winning Giveaways
Not all giveaways are things you would want to win or give anyone for Christmas! But if you are selective, you can win some great gifts. Just because YOU didn’t pay for it doesn’t mean it isn’t a valuable gift.
Keep your eyes peeled for good giveaways. If you don’t know where to start, you can find a list of current giveaways here. Right now, you can enter to win items such as purses, bath and body products, gourmet foods, pillow pets, gift certificates . . . the list could go on and on.
Just be selective about what you enter and don’t waste time on giveaways that have more than about 150 entries since your odds on winning them aren’t near as good.
#4 – Sign Up for Promo Deals
Frequently, when a site or store opens, they will offer a credit for the first people to register at their website. Recently Ruelala offered a $20 credit! Today, you can get FREE clothing – even after shipping – with that $20 credit!
I do my best to post any of these promo deals that I find, so make sure you take advantage of them as soon as you see them. Frequently, they are only available for a limited time or for a certain number of people.
With these tips, you really can get Christmas gifts for 100% FREE!
Anybody have any other suggestions?
