FREE Access to Ancestry.com

I go through phases in life. Sometimes it’s sewing. Sometimes it’s scrapbooking. Sometimes it genealogy.

I haven’t said much about genealogy on this blog because I haven’t done much with this in the last few months. But in the last 5 years I have worked pretty extensively on my family tree.

If you are interested in starting to look into your’s, check out the Ancestry database this weekend.

If you’re interested in family history, through September 6, 2010, you can get free access to Ancestry.com.

Ancestry.com offers the world’s largest of online collection of U.S immigration records. You can search through millions of immigration records, including ship passenger lists, petitions for citizenship and a host of other documents.

Thanks, Chi-Town Cheapskate!
